The RAFA is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Corporation Law of California (“California Nonprofit Corporation Law”) for public, charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of IRS Code Section 501(c)(3).
The specific purpose of the Rancho Adobe Firefighters Association (RAFA) is to support the Rancho Adobe Fire Protection District, Rancho Adobe Firefighters and their families, and provide charitable and educational support to the community.
